SLOWER

This is a poem I wrote four years ago.

SLOWER

Raindrops fall
as lightly as feather.

Oceans wave
as timidly as daybreak.

The wind blows
as quietly as a whisper.

Moon gazes
as blankly as white.

Trees sway
as bleakly as water.

Mountains stand
as motionless as space.

The sky stretches
as endlessly as abyss.

From where I am,
Your eyes lay…
Distant as the sun
Indifferent like a foe
Unloving as abhorrence
Lifeless as void

The world turns…

Slower

than

forever.

My favorite pirate once had spoken, "..if you were looking for the opportune moment...that was it."

Okay, there's obviously no apparent unity among all the words I've posted above...haha. Though coherence is an issue in this entry, trust me, I am trying to emit an undimmed message here :D
